I like to think about things. I also like to question things – sometimes just for the sake of it.

I nerd myself into some things. Other things I am extremely uninterested in.

I have also become a climate change aunt, despite mine so far, in the context, young age.

On this blog you can read most of what fits in my world of thought. From social criticism to beauty 40+ to embarrassing stories to…

Welcome! 🙂

.. and tamejfan, every fucking year I need new summer clothes. Is not that strange – you think that what I sewed up last year should probably work now this year as well, but every year I sew up again. Mainly tank tops, because it kind of goes away. But this year I have a few others, for me completely new, plans for summer clothes.

And, I will do not lie. I have been buying a bunch of patterns since last summer, and that bundle includes a number of different tank tops. I think I bought five or six patterns on just the tank tops, with various variations. I will be able to swim in the number of vests when I am done. The only thing that prevents me from starting to sew them up is that I have to tape and cut them out of paper first – and it's so damn boring. 😀

But I have a few other things I plan for too. I have already told you that I have to adapt my attire to the simple fact that I must wear compression stockings on me all year round. I'm terribly fussy about certain things, and among them is the length of trousers when you have knee socks. I refuse to wear a pair of trousers that are so short that you can see the end of the sock at the knee. I shit if it sounds ridiculous, I just do not. This means that the trousers end up in approximately water high-length.

I'm going either not in linen, only. If I need linen, I want something left over. There are two reasons for this; I do not like my upper arms, and I do not like my stomach. So I want something over my tank tops. In the past, I always had a longer tank top and a shorter one, short-sleeved top over – and I intend to continue with that per se. But I have, among other things, bought patterns for some form of tunic / dress that ends approximately in the middle of the thighs at the front, but goes a good bit further down the back of the body, and the sleeves are super short.

I also bought another pattern on another, open tunic as shorter at the front and longer at the back. I really like that concept – it's how nice it is.

In addition it needs I, I think in any case, sew a few more pants. I have discarded a number of pants that have become old and worn, and right now I have a little bad control of my summer stock. Luckily, I have a good piece of pants fabric, but I may have to invest in more – it depends a bit on how and what I think I need. And when I think about it, I might have to get more pants fabric, at least if I should be able to sew at least a pair of pants that need stretch.

At the moment believe I, however, that I have pretty good with fabric at home to be able to make my summer wardrobe a little more varied than it usually is. Of course I want to buy more at home anyway – there are many unstitched patterns to sew. In addition – I have a good amount of cotton jersey left (it is quite a few meters), which comes from Stoffochstil. This particular fabric is extremely soft and cozy to wear, but unfortunately it does not last long. It's a bit like I just have to think I should wear a tank top or a sweater, so the size has expanded two sizes. So I am extremely eager to buy a cotton knit in better quality – and then I found a super cute tricot with skulls on that I would like.

I am right impressed by myself, that I started sewing before the summer in such good time. Normally, I usually come up with somewhere in early / mid June to shit, I need new clothes. But now we are in the middle of March, and I have already started. And I like to have so many patterns to choose from.

If you ignore from that summer is the season I like the least, so I feel relatively happy with how I think my wardrobe will look.
