Självporträtt

I like to think about things. I also like to question things – sometimes just for the sake of it.

I nerd myself into some things. Other things I am extremely uninterested in.

I have also become a climate change aunt, despite mine so far, in the context, young age.

On this blog you can read most of what fits in my world of thought. From social criticism to beauty 40+ to embarrassing stories to…

Welcome! 🙂

It's New Year's Eve, and today I met Tone for the last time – this year, Want to say. 😀 We will meet again in a few weeks and continue the project of documenting and exploring her femininity in different ways. And as usual, we are both equally fascinated by the tremendous progress that has already taken place, only since we first met about six months ago.

One thing I do really, really like – and I think I've written about it before, is to see the development in Tone's taste in clothing. Today I got to see three new dresses she bought, and (to my very own, private joy, it's a style I like and can easily imagine wearing myself) she is gorgeous in them.

And I think me that it must be an enormously large project, to learn as much as possible about being a woman, compared to those of us who were born female and have chosen that gender identity. About clothes, colors, makeup, skin products, hair products, shoes, how to walk and move, to learn to manage the body that appears, the changed mentality that also comes – and that's just the beginning. Tone jokingly said that she is in her teens right now – and I believe her. 😀

I have told me I'm a little amused (read; a lot of fun) of Tone's stubbornness about what she calls herself – tant. But you have to agree that her inner aunt becomes more and more clear and prominent every time I meet her. It's really amazing to see, and even more exciting to see what she will look like in just a few months – and even more so in a year or two.

In addition to that is fun to follow Tone's development, she is also a very nice person I get along well with. Therefore, it feels very good that this project will continue for quite a long time to come. I'm really looking forward to following her journey. And yes, I know I'm rambling about it too 😀 but that's how it goes when you embark on long-term projects with people. Then is it fun – thats how it is.
