Självporträtt

I like to think about things. I also like to question things – sometimes just for the sake of it.

I nerd myself into some things. Other things I am extremely uninterested in.

I have also become a climate change aunt, despite mine so far, in the context, young age.

On this blog you can read most of what fits in my world of thought. From social criticism to beauty 40+ to embarrassing stories to…

Welcome! 🙂

Ever since last summer, I have on the whole been a bit off. I have barely put on any make-up at all, because I really did not feel like it. Plus, with Covid-19, it has not directly felt that there are reasons. I live alone with my cat and my dog, and they completely shit in whether I have color in the stuff or not.

But on New Year's Eve I had definitely met one of my best friends in town. My dog was just about to experience his first New Year, my day dog needed to get tired before evening, and my friend's dog – well, it does not matter if any dog gets tired before New Year's in town.

So I put on make-up me. I was also satisfied.

But the last of the year day was certainly not one of my best days. The most annoying thing was that once I stood there and colored my face, I dropped my palette with eye shadow upside down. It's a palette from Inglot, so the shadows sit with magnets. Of course, my absolute favorite shade went out – and broke in the sink. In that way that there is no point in trying to sweep up the misery.

That which is extra disturbing with this is of course that many of my favorites from Inglot – plus many I plan to invest in eventually, no longer available on their website. Including just exactly this, which is a dark maroon that is morbidly fucking monkey-looking. I thrive incredibly well in it, and now I only have half.

Fucking piss.

Thinking about I will contact Inglot and see if they happen to have one or more of this one (is too lazy to go and see what this particular shade is called), because when it comes to red shadows, it is difficult to find exactly what I am looking for – and this one is really gorgeous.
